1. were lucky enough to meet the owner Mr Monty Patel and he couldn't have been more polite and made us feel like we were his personal guests,but i could not finish up without mentioning A J the manager,its hard to improve on perfection.

2. There is a Muni-transit bus that runs on Sutter so it is easy to wait for a bus if you don't feel like walking.

7. like I said, I got a great price (under $100/night not including parking) so no major complaints, just annoyances keeping it from being a four star hotel.

8. My husband & I were attending a family reunion in Berkeley & decided we'd like to stay over at an affordable victorian in the City rather than drive the 90 minutes back to our home in Santa Rosa.

9. Air con was shoddily put in (seemed like half the window had been removed and the aircon unit put in its space) and was VERY noisy - you certainly could not sleep with it on which is difficult if you're staying here on a hot night.
