3. Staff had no reaction, not even an apology, about our complaints - though at check-out, staff did tell us that the new owners are just looking to flip the property and truly do not care about their patrons.

5. Just be careful that you don't walk through the dodgy bit - this is a few blocks away and a few blocks further down so not that near the hotel at all and you don't have to go through it to get there, we just went the long way round which wasn't the best idea.

7. Hotel management has taken care of many nice touches such as full size umbrella, iron and ironing board, 2 bathrobes in room.

10. I didn`t get a fireplace that I read about nor did I get one of those nice bathtubs, but who cares? I wouldn`t bathe in one of those anywhere except in my home.
