We where speaking to a guy on the reception called Nelson, he wasn't very helpful at all in this instance, he then advised us that we needed to give them cash-$300, I said that this was quite a lot, he response was 'it is usually $700, we reluctantly gave him the cash to check in, leaving us very short for spending money.

9. That aside, we found the front desk to be very responsive, finding us an umbrella, delivering a coffee maker to our room etc.
