3. We had a wonderful girls trip to SF recently, made that much better by a stay at the legendary Drake, which did not disappoint.

4. The location is best suited to those who wish to shop as Union Square is a designer fan's paradise however we wanted to explore the city more than shop and would perhaps have chosen somewhere closer to the pier to increase the choice of restaurants available had we known the city better.
