1. Instead of paying 40 bucks to get valet parking, just park right across the street at the meters which you can do so on the weekends and its free from 8pm sat.

Upon mentioning to one of the staff members that it was our anniversary (which he already new in fact from our information when we booked) he arranged for us to have turndown service, a bottle of champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries to be in our room when we arrived back from dinner and a jazz club (all free of charge.

It's even free in the lobby but not in your room, unlike other hotels in the group; should I go down in my bathrobe as a protest or pay the $10 and stay in my room?The price to stay is quite high and reflects the need to have 3 people manning the front door, 1 guarding the left luggage, whilst there are only 2 at the reception (valet parking is available).

9. There was an in-room safe big enough to hold my laptop, free Washington State apples and chocolate chip cookies at the front desk, and helpful concierge and front desk service that gracefully answered my tourist type questions.
