1. Rates are reasonable, and I believe there is not a better value in San Francisco, especially because of the neighborhood location near the performing arts centers and the ambience of Hays Valley shopping and dining.

The restaurant is in the back & serves a complimentary buffet breakfast for hotel guests (fresh fruit, toast/bagels w/cream cheese, butter, & jam, hard-boiled eggs, Subway sweet muffins, milk, water, oj, coffee/tea, & cereal), room service w/a limited but reasonably priced menu (5-9PM), & dinner & cocktails w/a more expansive & expensive array of choices.

6. Fantastic area for seniors with the availability of 'Rush' tickets, (so reasonable) to great performances, and public transport within a block or two for a variety of museums, other musical venues, and good old sightseeing.

9. Located just a 3 minute walk from the Opera House, which also stages San Francisco Ballet productions, the Inn is an old-fashioned but comfortable hotel at very reasonable prices.
