2. I particularly loved the old fashioned elevator lined in red velvet, with a door to open before you get in, piped classical music to enjoy the ride.

3. I have been to San Francisco before so was happy to be in a location that was further from some of the main sights and close to lovely and quirky neighborhoods.

4. I loved the area in spite of it being a little off the beaten path - well connected with public transportation though, no need to rent a car - actually it's less hassle to get around with pub transport.
