2. I've stayed at Hotel Triton a few times - it's just a few blocks from my home, but when I have a night or two and want a local getaway, the staff and comforts at Hotel Triton make me feel like I am miles away from any worries I have.

3. The decor of the hotel is funky, a little unusual:-) I felt like Alice in Wonderland sometimes and loved it:-)Friendly staff, perfect location for SF.

4. An easy walk to Chinatown and Union Square, the Triton feels authentic, not like a chain (but has Kimpton consistency) and the staff was attentive and competent.

5. It's closeby to many restaurants, shops, BART stations, Union Square, and other hotels (like the Hilton, which is where I had to be).

8. like NYC & Paris etc, you need to pay more for more square footage - so if you like big rooms, book a suite.
