location, and with parking and breakfast included, the unique Phoenix Hotel is pretty hard to beat - shhhhh.

As far as the time spent there, it wasn't bad at all, just not the most
convenient
place to stay if you want to spend time in China Town, Union Square of Fisherman's Wharf.
