3. The hotel is right a half block from Market street and a few short blocks to Union Square so the shopping and dining options are plentiful.

4. It had a bay window with windows that actually opened, ceiling fan with overhead lights, side chair, plenty of outlets, great decor and an efficient bathroom.

5. The available toiletries/sundries by the bathroom was plentiful (shaver & breathe right strips to boot after a weary day), although the wash basin did not leave much room to wash your face without your forehead hitting the glass shelf.

10. I was in a single room, but it was plenty big enough (I think I probably had one of the larger singles) and right next to the communal bathroom, which was always spotless and invariably empty.
