4. The room is more like hotels I have stayed in Europe, they are not huge, but big enough, the room, and the bathroom were very clean, the tv worked, the mattress was good too, Internet was FREE.

7. Newly renovated rooms are small (but then who would stay in San Francisco and stay in the room?) but elegantly appointed with a huge flat screen TV and comfortable bed and chair.

8. We splurged for a room with a private bathroom but as we walked down the hall towards the elevator, we didn't see a huge line of people waitiing for the bathrooms so maybe next time we'll save a few bucks and share facilities.
