4. My overall impression of this place is that someone had a few bucks and desire to turn a beautiful old VIctorian into a trendy boutique hotel and then they went off to travel or do something else leaving no one in charge or accountable.

8. I would definitely recommend the shared bathroom stay for someone looking to move themselves up from a hostel to a hotel without incurring much more cost, but getting a much more private stay in a beautiful city.
