1. Before my family checked out, we had a light breakfast at the excellent Java Beach Cafe and popped in at the Sloat nursery to look at the beautiful orchids (it was Winter Orchid Festival week).

2. However all is not lost as there is good cafe very nearby with excellent speed (they also provide power points ) and most of their customers were making use of this.

3. The Duffets provide a warm welcome and answer any questions; also, an excellent neighborhood map where you can find anything you might want to buy or eat on West Portal Street - movie theater, too.

10. Stayed at the Ocean park during the Amex golf tourney, it was great, the reception staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, it was clean, friendly, excellent value and a great location can't wait to go back.
