1. Not sure how big the double rooms are, our friend also staying separately wasn,t as keen on his outlook into an inner courtyard.

6. When I walked over to the 'host hotel' for the convention center to meet a friend and saw the line of 50 people waiting to check-in to the hotel amidst a lot of noise and confusion, I knew I lucked out by being placed at the Hotel Palomar.
