1. The reason that this is not a 5 is that the parking is outrageous at $50 an evening.

3. Service was moderate, and while the 'studio' room was reasonably clean it was a bizarre shape, not well furnished and with an uninspiring view up Post Street.

Good value, high level of comfort and service(soft terry robes, abundant towels, great stall shower) , great location near Union Square, very good fitness center (also near great restaurants shopping and for business travelers reasonably close to the financial district), but if you're looking for a memorable or uniquely SF experience, try elsewhere.
