1. The room was spacious enough for two with large suitcases (there is a large walkin 'wardrobe' - a separate room really)A lovely welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates for our anniversary :)As it is obviously NOT a modern, flashy hotel wear is obvious in the bathrooms but a bit of worn away enamel should not stop you from staying here.

8. After a long drive from Yosemite we were concerned about parking outside the Hotel to drop our luggage off but immediately upon arriving, the bellboy at the chancellor (Matthew) quickly made us feel relaxed, welcome and completely unrushed.
