1. we arrived early in the week so it was very quiet on the Strip in general.

2. Although I was not bothered by noise, and felt my 5th floor room had very good sound proofing, I would suggest to anyone that needs an absolutely quiet night that they not go to South Beach or stay on Ocean Drive.

5. The Tides is located right smack on Ocean Drive so some noise may be inevitable but with the quiet hum of the air conditioning at night we never heard a peep.

9. quiet and relaxing, there are umbrellas and a shaded area on either side of the pool where you can have a drink and just relax.
