1. Not that Hotel 71 is terrible, they just don't measure up to some of the other hotels we have stayed at such as the Westin and our new favorite, Hotel Monaco.

4. Let me start by saying that my boyfriend is a huge Batman (especially the new Christian Bale movies) fan and I knew the Dark Knight was filmed in Chicago.

6. Upon check-in, we were asked if we wanted to upgrade to one of their newly remodeled rooms, which we did for $20/night.

7. Windows can be opened to let in fresh air not like the new York hotel we stayed in very stuffy with the air conditioning .

8. The newly renovated bathroom had a leak in the ceiling above the shower and on my last morning there was no hot water in my shower.

10. The shower facet was leaky, overall it wasn't bad- it just didn't look like the newly renovated pictures on their website.
