1. While my husband worked, I did some fun activities that I recommend: 2 hour Segway tour of Millenium Park from Absolutely Chicago Segway tour (a walk from the hotel), Chicago Architecture Foundation boat tour (very close to hotel), the Art Institute and shopping on the Magnificent Mile.

3. The bus for the museums and aquarium stops across from the hotel - ride for free all the days with your pass - and be sure to ride the El - so fun.

9. One notable event was that Transformers 3 was being filmed in Chicago while I was there - and so the streets around the hotel were a film set with all that entails: mainly lots of hassle from security, streets blocked off, people milling around everywhere - but if you were a film buff I guess it would have been fun.

10. One last thing, they were doing a lot of filming for Transformers 3 just down the street from this, which was really fun to see.
