2. I understand that this hotel cannot be held responsible for its guests' behavior, however the slow response time to my complaint and the 'whatever' attitude from the front desk REALLY got to me.

4. Obviously I share responsibility for not researching better, but the high prices, indifferent staff and oppressive decor didn't help.

5. Both bedside lamps did not work when we arrived in the room, but an employee was sent up immediately to replace the bulbs, so that was an impressive response.

6. While I'm sure i'll get some response now that I posted this about how sorry they are about the less than stellar experience I had and they assure me this is not the norm and they will look into this, and blah, blah , blah, but will anything change?.

7. Here ya go anything else I can help you with? Hmmm, how about asking me how my stay was? Since when is it not common practice to ask how your stay was? ( I guess when you know that the response will be anything but flattering you avoid the question)Am I expecting some sort of retribution from the hotel? Of course I am.
