1. Russell Menkes, on August 2nd, 2011 , to date I have not even had the courtesy of a response, I am employed as a manager in the hospitality industry and find this most unacceptable.

Menkes, I emailed the general reception desk regarding the same matter, where I received a response riddled with grammar and spelling errors (which is no crime, but again reinforced the feeling of unprofessionalism), informing me that the room I have been assigned is not known for its view, and if I wanted a view, it would cost XX dollars more per night, and this offer would expire in 24 hours.

8. I called and e-mailed the hotel manager multiple times but there was never a response.

9. Unfortunately, the front desk staff, lack of response from the General Manager despite my attempts to contact him, and the lack of basic courtesies (as a Hilton HHonors member) left me a bit perturbed.
