1. I'm happy to say that I could hear no sounds from the outside and the view was just fine for me (who's staying in their room anyhow.

3. The rooms are extremely large, and I was happy to realize that although an older hotel, I had no problems and was not able to hear noises from the adjoining rooms (something that can often happen at older hotels).

4. They even brought a special dessert to my husband on a plate decorated with balloons and happy Birthday written on it in chocolate while we were enjoying the amazing breakfast buffet.

10. We took the train from Milwaukee and arrived way before check in time but they person at the desk said they gave us a free upgrade and were happy to keep our bags until the room was ready and even took our cell phone number so they could call.
