1. ) and was more than happy with our choice of this Residence Inn - the room was HUGE, the breakfast and evening happy hour buffet were perfect to tide us over until we seriously hit Chicago's restaurants and the location was quiet and close to everything we wanted to see.

5. We know quite a spectrum of Chicago hotels, from a now-defunct Days Inn to luxury convention giant, and this was a great find -- fantastic reservation staff and management, terrific and HUGE room (a 2-bedroom apartment bigger than many condos), and great views of the lake.
