1. We enjoyed our stay and encountered no issues other than the maid dropped my wife's makeup mirror while cleaning and placed it back on the counter in pieces like nothing happened.

Unfortunately, the lighting in the bathroom shower is still inadequate -- I get that the sole overhead light can't be moved, so how about a thinner/lighter shade shower curtain so I don't feel like I'm taking a shower in the dark?Other changes include new parking fees in the attached but independently owned garage -- you either pay the going rate by the hour ($41 overnight) or get unlimited in/out privileges with a pass card for $44 (added to your bill in advance).

8. The hotel does lack any architectural appeal, so for those who need to feel like they're in 1920s Chicago, for instance, should look elsewhere.

10. Perhaps I tend to think of city hotels as all having great lobbies, but this Marriott hardly felt like a hotel at all when I entered.
