4. It was suggested to me that I try a higher floor facing away from Michigan Avenue to reduce siren and other road noise.

7. The other noise which was more consistent was the noise from the elevator mechanism, all 3 shafts were VERY noisy with clunking and banging to be heard each and every time someone called one of the elavators.

8. That isnt the hotels fault but maybe there should be more prominent signs in the elevator and on the landing pointing out that other guests are likely to be disturbed by noise.
