Airport was a little bit of a nightmare the immigration officers have no sense of humour so beware and the queues are long, to manhatten from the airport $45 set fare for all taxis take one dont take the cheaper mini bus as it takes forever, the taxi takes around 45mins to 1 hr depending what time of day you land, all in all a very enjoyable tiring holiday break.

3. On three occasions we just bought fresh coissants and danish pastries from the Italian cafe downstairs - again perfect and much cheaper.

4. We opted for a late checkout, which was well worth the money, and they even booked a car for us (which turned out cheaper than a cab.

7. Being so close to Times Square for a longer stay could get tiresome, turn right out of the hotel and head up 8th Avenue for cheaper souvenir stores and some great delis.

8. The location is second to none turn left out of the hotel and within 1minute you are in times square,turn right cross 2 roads and your in the hells kitchen district where you can eat from nearly every cuisine under the sun even ethiopian,and its a good deal cheaper than times square.

9. Don't buy show tickets from the hotel booth- way cheaper to get them from the discount machines in Times Square- well worth the queue.

10. Booking directly with them would have been very expensive so I ended up booking through a 3rd party company and it worked out a lot cheaper.
