6. Everything about it is wonderful: the warm welcome at the front desk; the bottle of wine and chocolates brought to my room after I arrived; the elegantly appointed room with its Juliet balcony; the complimentary breakfast in the comfortable lobby; free internet access and passes to a nearby gym.

8. They are small, boutique hotels with a wonderful concept: clean, elegant rooms, a small lobby, and a pleasant lounge area where they serve the included breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese.
