1. Walking through the entrance was a pleasure as the range of flowers decorating the lounge generated a memorable scent thus creating a warm relaxing atmosphere.

4. We agree with many of these reviews that Sofitel is in a great location for going to dinner and shows in Times Square - close enough to walk but far enough away from the crowds generated by the theaters and restaurants there.

10. To me, this Sofitel straddles the 4-star and 5-star categories, but is almost always priced more like its 4-star competition in the general vicinity of Times Square, and it's the nicest of the 4-stars I've tried in that area.
