1. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious with a rotating menu of items such as scrambled eggs and bacon (a huge hit with my entire family), sausage, egg and cheese muffins, and my husband's favorite.

Our usual places to stay when coming into Seattle overnight are Silver Cloud Stadium (pricey, but fun rooftop pool), Marqueen (love, love, love it here), Holiday Inn Express near Space Needle (cookie cutter hotel, but convenient), Silver Cloud Lake Union (great breakfast area - like a huge living room overlooking marina), Paramount (great to stay if taking in a show at Paramount Theatre and we love the Dragonfish Restaurant), Watertown by the university etc.

6. There is a huge mall within walking distance and also a Target etc which came in handy for us to pick up some last minute items prior to our cruise.
