Some minor quibbles: like in many other old hotels, the bathroom was small; we were on the second floor above the entrance and noise and unwanted light were problems (we had to keep the bathroom door closed to keep out light but were unable to close the drapes in the bedroom) and there is an underlying odour (more in the halls, less in the rooms).

9. Whether that's because the room keys are actually shaped like keys, rather than swipe cards, or because the carpet in the lift changes every day to inform you what day of the week it is, or that the whole place is decorated like it's still the 19th century, I'm not sure, but it's a change.
