4. The rooms are lovely, the meeting rooms are quiet and it has lots of nice seating areas in the lobby.

5. I love the location - we don't have to drive into the heart of the city - we get off the highway, pop over in a few blocks, park at the nearby public garage, and generally never have to take the car out again for the rest of the weekend.

7. The hotel is undergoing remodeling, so there's currently a mix of old-and-seriously-needing improvement (no real fans in the bathrooms, ancient wallpaper and carpet) and new (lovely beds, sparklingly new and clean linens, towels and shower curtains).
