1. Delivery trucks start arriving at 4am; garbage pickup is at 4:30am & security personal communicate on walkie-talkies that have no ear pieces, and all is known to the individuals staying here because the rooms are not air-conditioned, sliding doors have to be open at night to stay cool and every room faces the vehicle entrance.

8. considering the open air/lack of security at the entrance choke points to the hotel (there is at least 8 different places where you can walk in and there is only roving walking security, no locked doors or gates at those checkpoints), it became blatantly clear that uncle billys knowingly or unknowingly harbored Kailua Kona's 'nightlife activities'.

9. A quick peek at the sliding door (did it slide? I never used it, might have been a swinging door) showed the uptmost in hotel security, an Eye and Hook 20cent lock mechanism, the kind of thing you use to keep your kids out of the cabinet when they are 2.
