1. The room with king bed was roomy enough to walk in although I would have liked to find some more closet space.

7. ' What? Is that even OK to discriminate like that, how do they know who a 'mainlander' is and who isn't? I told her I lived in Hilo, and I found it absurd that if I happened to have my HELCO bill I would get the rate.

8. If you want 'polished' go pay way more for an exclusive resort where you will never get to meet the proprietor in person, like I did meet 'Uncle Billy' himself, a local elderly Hawaiian gentleman hanging around the front desk checking up on the clerks.

10. You have a choice of white or sort-of brown toast and two flavours of jelly; a pastry that felt and tasted like it was 3 days old, orange juice from a dispenser that tastes as if it is corroding inside and papaya.
