1. On the positive side, we had a decent TV with an adequate number of channels, good water pressure, clean pool, sweet receptionist, and tolerable beds.

4. Are you looking for a resort vacation or just a cheap decent place in a great location to sleep and relax? This place is definitely for the latter only, but the 2nd floor room had a nice deck with a good view and included cable tv, a safe and a minifrig.

5. For $69 plus tax and a location that puts you right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Kona, this is a decent place.

6. The room is a bit tired but very clean and quite a decent size for two people, yes you get charged for extra towels but I am not quite sure why two people need more than two towels a day anyway? Great location for eating out at night, Kona is not a party town we had a great relaxing week there doing tours to the volcano and going snorkeling etc so you don't spend that much time in the room anyway after all you don't go to Hawaii to sit in your room do you?.

8. Uncle Billy's = Holiday Inn - not a 4 Star hotel, but a decent room (king bed) with internet access,a desk,overstuffed chairs, balcony with chairs/table, cable TV, onsite restaurant and a pool.
