1. nice 4-story boutique hotel in a great location near (but not too near) Fisherman's Wharf.

2. We took a taxi for $30 from the airport to the inn - which was another good idea - and were pleased to find the inn to be very nice and in a terrific location.

5. The reception area is nice and it's a nice touch to have the complimentary wine tasting each evening (and soft drinks, if you wish) and the coffee in the mornings.

6. A complimentary bottle of water for a weary traveller would have been nice, and $3 for those provided did seem a bit excessive (especially when the supermarket across the street sells them cheaper) but hey.

10. Placed nicely for the downtown and on the loop for the bus tours and also for the cablecars this was a great base for exploring the city.
