1. Though memory fades, we feel that it looked better than it did in the 70s when it was brand new.

4. I think Marriott is really on the right track with their management as I've been to several of their larger properties/resorts in the past two years and they have really taken things to a new level, and that is great.

5. Our room was updated and looked like it had been remodeled at some point, I am not really sure about all of the comments that say the resort looks outdated unless they are just comparing it to a brand new resort because everything was in good condition that we saw.

8. we had to call after a couple days just to get our sheets changed and when we came back to the room our bed was newly made, but with our old sheets.

9. There is some construction ongoing nearby (new Hyatt Andaz) but the noise was minimal and nothing could be heard when the lanai door was shut.
