1. Secondly, the Resort Fee really didn't offer the visitor much at all, except for 2 free drinks.

2. Our internet was free at the on-site Starbucks, the pools were perfect, we dined at Spago (10 minute walk) and ran on the same running trail that fronts the Fairmont/FS/GW/etc.

3. We drove up to the Sheraton at the Black Rock for the day, found some free beach parking, and rented a small shaded cabana for $30.

4. Nothing in this fee makes it worthwhile (you pay $150 for 5 days and get a free starbucks coffee.

5. If you sit by the kiddie pool though you can watch the whole thing for free.

10. There is no free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the only place you can get it is if you go to the lobby, the service is provided by starbucks coffee - how sad is that.
