1. Though memory fades, we feel that it looked better than it did in the 70s when it was brand new.
"35 Years Later; Loved It Again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/19/2012 Vote
2. The walk to the beach was less than five minutes; snorkeling was pretty good at the small point between the mokapu and ulua beach parks (I thought better at the north side of the point than the south side).
"Excellent Value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/15/2012 Vote
3. The views are obviously roughly the same as the other beachfront Wailea resorts (and much better than most other resorts anywhere in the USA charging a similar rate or more than what we paid).
"Excellent Value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/15/2012 Vote
4. Sashimi needs to be fresher and better than what we were served, especially in Hawaii.
"Dated " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/8/2012 Vote
5. The other resorts likely have better amenities, rooms, and restaurants, but the Marriot was a much better fit for us and the price (while more expensive than most reosrts on the island) was much cheaper than the Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, or the Fairmont.
"Great location, friendly service, perfect for couples. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/5/2012 Vote
6. If you can get a beach view room, all the better, as this property faces west and you get outstanding sunset views.
"Beautiful place " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/2/2012 Vote
7. There are some great views at this hotel, it is not beachfront as people say, and is a 5 minute walk to the beach in front of the grand wailea, or a 2 minute walk to the beach in front of the condos, both very nice beaches, better snorkeling in front of the condos, better swimming in front of the grand wailea.
"Good Hotel, Excellent location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/1/2012 Vote
8. You share the same view as the Grand Wailea, Fairmont, and Four Seasons on this strip so just sit back and let out a happy sigh because life does not get better than this =) Feel free to message me if you have any questions, and let me know if this review was useful.
"Just Gorgeous! Wish We Were Still There! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/25/2012 Vote
9. For me it was the highlight of my 4 days on Maui and the one day we rented a cabana at the Serinity Pool and stayed at the resort all day was better than traveling off site.
"Like a Dream Come True " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2012 Vote
10. I stayed in the newer tower which is much better and newly built.
"Decent place but nothing great for the money! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2012 Vote
