2. The hotel is adjacent to the Shops at Wailea and we enjoyed happy hour at Tommy Bahamas and eating the banana fudge ice cream at Lappert's (a must try.

3. There were at least 3 pools, including the famous serenity pool, but I was pretty happy with the main pool.

7. Being that it was our first time in Hawaii, I was so happy that we stayed at this hotel as it was exactly as I had imagined staying in paradise would be.

8. We had booked a room with a partial ocean view and we were happy to be away from the noisy middle section of the hotel where the bar and restaurant were located.
