Having read the reviews on here we were concerenced about ths hotel, we have to say there was no problem checking in even though we arrived on a Friday very busy time at 3:30pm the staff were friendly and very helpful, the porters took our luggage to our rooms for a tip of course, the lifts were fine there are enough lifts there were 2 to our area of the hotel and there are more lifts around the corner, we arrived at our room the one bedroom suite yes it is dated decor however 1 great size bedroom with wardrobe dressing table and tv the bathroom is great no problems with hot water for a shower or bath whatever the time of day, the next room had a large LCD TV with sofa coffee table and table by the kitchenette and also a dressing table the bed was really comfy and towels are changed daily this is hotel is in an excellent position 5 mins walking to times square and 5 mins walking to central park and 5th avenue nothing is too much trouble for the staff they are so helpful, we took a room without a view which was so quiet it enabled us to sleep as the rooms with a view overlook the main road, you are able to leave your luggage on the day of departure at no extra charge this is taken away to a locked room for security.
