5. 25 each it's a bargain if you're not travelling with children/lots of luggage)- Plenty of affordable 24hr delis and diners (thoroughly recommend Applejack Diner on corner of 55th St & Broadway, also Steak & Shake a few doors down - 5 mins walk from hotel)- Clean (apart from cockroach in bath) and decent size standard double room with flatscreen TV- Emailed prior to arrival asking for high floor with view.

6. Because of its older decor, and the rooms are small (but decently cleaned and appointed) it might turn off some people.

7. All in all this is a decent good value hotel in a good location which is clean and tidy but with a dreadful reservation department and the reviews of the hotel seem to depend on which rooms you end up in.

9. Let me first say the hotel lobby was beautiful - nice people, decent Greek restaurant, but you must visit the Park Cafe in the hotel - great food all day, wonderful service, and well priced.
