1. Easy travel from DCA Reagan but if you are flying into BWI get ready for a hefty cab fare or book a flight that gets in early enough to catch a train (much cheaper).

6. We were able to get a good deal from one of the online travel sites through TripAdvisor, actually a cheaper rate than the Holiday Inn Capitol South, and I think the L'Enfant is actually a nicer property (the Holiday Inn does throw in breakfast and wi-fi, though).

9. They chose not to make a deal out of it, but I think it's pretty shady that you reserve certain rooms at this hotel and are given a cheaper room.
