1. We rented a car from the hotel to the airport, because it was actually cheaper to do that then take a cab or bus to the airport.

4. It's cheaper to walk across the street to Downtown Disney and eat at the walk-up spots such as McDonalds, Earl of Sandwich or Cook's Fish and Chips.

6. I was initially quite worried that we were only paying $99 per night which seemed considerably cheaper than the other Downtown Disney hotels however, on arrival I need not have worried as initial impressions were great - our hotel looked the best in Downtown Disney.
