4. A fabulous art deco building, clean rooms, friendly service and very little noise as other reviewers have suggested despite our room being directly opposite the elevator.

5. Oh, and the restaurant attached to The Hotel is supposedly fabulous, but I refused to eat there because they has foie gras on the advertised menu.

6. As guests of the hotel you can benefit from the delux beach loungers which is a real bonus, and of course the fabulous beach is a stones throw from the hotel.

9. We didn't eat at Wish, but had a couple of great lunches at Pelican as well as fabulous salads at Cafe Milano (I think that's what it was called), both of which were right around the corner from The Hotel on Ocean Drive.
