3. I highly recommend 'Monkey Pod' in Wailea to eat, it's got fare to suit everyone and be sure to get there for happy hour, 3-5pm and 7-9pm, it's crazy busy from 5-7.

5. Those who blanch at $200-300 tabs can sample the fare at the bar during happy hour (5:00-6:30) for a fraction of the cost at the restaurant.

7. It's better, I believe, for adults, as opposed to families with younger kids, because the Hotel itself, other than a modest swimming pool, doesn't offer much to keep young kids happy--that's what the beach is for; or if the kids would prefer a big resort with sprawling pool, slides, etc.
