8. The Hotel Wailea is not perfect, but it is a very nice facilityl with good amenities and an excellent value for this area of Maui.

Hotel Wailea has many things going for it: excellent location, beautiful grounds, private beach access (access to a private section of a beach with generous public access), spacious and quiet rooms (many with knockout views), a Japanese-style 'hot spring' spa, friendly staff (if not quite enough of them).
