6. I cannot say enough about the breakfast buffet-- fresh omelets and waffles, delicious bacon, fabulous pastries and fresh fruit-- and they made a point of stressing that if there was anything else they could make us in the kitchen, then that would be considered part of the buffet.

7. We had dinner in Laihaina almost every night (we did eat one night at the hotel's signature restaurant, the Banyan Tree - good service, great food (the seafood dishes are excellent - very fresh), great view, very expensive though) and the drive back to the hotel, after a big meal, suffering from the jet lag/6-hour time difference, made for a tiresome ride back each and every night.
