1. From what I understand, a lot of the 'Old Hollywood' celebs such as Marilyn Monroe used to love staying here.

3. We booked this hotel as part of our honeymoon and were seducecd by its hip and trendy reputation as being a fab hotel where all the celebs hang out and the lovely pictures of the rooms on their website - however, we were hugely disappointed.

5. My girlfriend and I are in our late 20's and love to go out but when you can't sleep and have to get seached by rude employees just to go to your room, I have a problem with that.

9. Overall, we liked the hotel - very atmospheric in the old lobby, lovely pool and cool bar area but I think you would need to consider carefully if this is the sort of thing you want.
