3. We've stayed at the Renaissance Hotel at Hollywood & Highland for an event at the Kodak Theater, which I liked better.

6. We stayed in what was classed as a superior room but it was on the small side, the furniture had seen better days and the air conditioning system was very noisy - one of the worst we've ever encountered.

7. The location of the Roosevelt cannot be bettered: right on Hollywood Boulevard and opposite the Chinese and Kodak Theatres.

8. Rather unimpressed by this, we complained and were offered a few alternative, none of which were much better, however, we opted for a slightly bigger room, however, still as dingy as dark as the one before.
