The lobby was plush and felt luxurious and the bar in the lobby not only served amazing cocktails but had one of the most friendly, helpful barmaids in - she became a friend to our family and it became a nightly ritual when we arrived back at the hotel after the day's activities to stop by the bar and chat to our new friend who gave us lots of recommendations for shopping, sightseeing and exciting things to do in LA.

3. The rooms have been recently refurbished so they feel new and fresh - we also had amazing views toward the Hollywood sign, the Griffith Observatory and the Capitol Records Building.

4. room good, very bright and new, large well equiped bathrom, nice to see new ,very large flat screen tv, but the location cannot be beaten in this area, ajoins the large shopping mall, everything you want there, good food etc, direct access on to hollywood blvd, walk of stars, Graumans chinese theatre, a few mins to hollywood bowl, griffith park, santa monica mountains, Mullhulland av, lv this area, pleas e feel free to contact me privatley as we have extensive knowledge of this area regarding things to do, luv to help.

5. The room went through a renovation with the usual flat screen tv and a new bed, but its old Hollywood themed furniture/sofa does not match with the new interiors.

7. Overall this is the best location if you are new to LA and want to visit the kodak/chinese theatre and wax museum etc.
